1. How Escrow Protection Works
When you donate to a reconstruction project, your funds are not immediately transferred to the supplier or contractor. Instead, they are held in a secure escrow account managed by the Platform.
Funds are only released when: (a) the assigned engineer submits GPS-verified spatial proof of material delivery, (b) photographic evidence is reviewed and approved, and (c) the homeowner confirms receipt. This triple-verification ensures your donation reaches its intended purpose.
2. Refund Eligibility
Pending Donations
Full refund available before escrow release. Cancel anytime from your donor portal.
Released Donations
Once funds are released after verified delivery, refunds are not available. Disputes must be filed within 14 days.
Stalled Projects
If a project shows no progress for 90+ days, donors may request a full refund from escrow.
