1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Nammerha platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. The Platform is an OCDS-compliant reconstruction marketplace operated to facilitate transparent community-driven rebuilding in Syria.
2. User Accounts
You must register for an account and complete KYC verification to participate in funding, engineering, or supply chain activities. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
Accounts are role-based: Homeowner, Donor, Engineer, Supplier, Contractor, or Tradesperson. Each role has specific permissions and obligations as defined by the Platform.
3. Escrow & Payments
All donations are held in escrow until verified delivery of materials is confirmed through GPS-verified spatial proofs. Funds are released only upon engineer verification and photographic evidence.
All monetary values are stored as integers (cents) to ensure financial precision. The Platform uses BIGINT arithmetic to prevent rounding errors on all escrow transactions.
4. Data & Privacy
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect KYC data, GPS coordinates, and transactional data to ensure accountability and prevent fraud.
5. OCDS Compliance
The Platform adheres to the Open Contracting Data Standard. All procurement activities, pricing data, and project progress are published transparently and can be independently audited.
6. Limitation of Liability
The Platform provides technology infrastructure for connecting stakeholders. We are not liable for the quality of construction work, material defects, or disputes between parties beyond the escrow mechanism provided.
7. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable international humanitarian law and the laws of the jurisdiction in which Nammerha is incorporated.
These terms ensure transparency and protect all stakeholders in the reconstruction process.
